BROWNLEE CENTRE & CYCLE CIRCUIT

Hello all

 

We are really pleased to share with you that our evening sessions at the Brownlee centre & cycle circuit will start on Tuesday 25th April.  Our session time is 7-8:30pm, please ensure you arrive promptly to start cycling at 7pm.

 

The session will be split into 2 time slots, 7-7:45pm and 7:45 – 8:30pm.  The earlier session will be for younger & less confident riders working on the lower track area whilst older riders & adults attending can ride the upper section of the track.  At 7:45pm, younger riders will finish for the evening and a session will be run by the coaches using the full track for older riders & adults. 

 

Families are welcome to stay with their younger riders in the pavilion if waiting for older riders participating in the second session.  We do not have sole use of the pavilion, so young people must not be left unaccompanied in the pavilion.  LMCC cannot be responsible for looking after cyclists not on the track.

 

At the moment, we do not know what refreshments etc. are available to buy in the pavilion, so it would be wise to bring a drink and snack with you.

 

As this is a separate session to our Saturday morning club we will require all parents to complete the attached consent form, 1 per child.  Forms will be available at the session but riders will not be allowed on the track until a form has been completed. 

 

There is no cost for the first session (25th April), as it is our first opportunity to ride on the track and see how the cycle circuit works.  It will be a come & play session rather than a formal coaching session. 

From the 2nd May, the cost of the evening session will be £3 for LMCC members, £4 for non-members and £4.50 for an adult & child combination.

 

There will be no Tuesday evening session on 30^th May 2017 and 29^th August 2017 as the circuit is closed.
